Job Title: Fire and Security Installation Engineer

Location: Glasgow and Central Belt Area

Salary: Up to 38,000 (DOE)
Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8am - 4/4:30pm)
Overtime: Time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays, any time over contracted hours is time and a half.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of fire and security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Conducting technical assessments to ensure system functionality, compliance with industry regulations, and overall quality.
  • Comfortable working on a builiding site location
  • Working closely with other engineers and apprentices to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise during installation
  • Adhering to company procedures and safety standards throughout all installations activites

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in fire and security system installation and (candidates with less experience may be considered for the right role).
  • Ideally, formal qualifications in fire and security systems (e.g., FIA, NICEIC, BAFE), although this is not essential.
  • Proven experience working in commercial environments.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Full driving licence required.
