Production Operative Responsibilities: On the job training

Produce components in line with production schedules, meeting agreed delivery targets while maintaining cost-efficiency.
Complete job cards accurately, recording all relevant process details for traceability and quality assurance.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, performing basic housekeeping and adhering to 5S principles at all times.
Report equipment faults promptly to the maintenance team to minimise downtime.
Record and manage work-related data, ensuring accurate documentation across all stages of production.
Pack finished goods securely, using appropriate protective materials to ensure product integrity during transit.
Support colleagues, including mentoring new team members as part of onboarding and team development.

Production Operative Requirements:

Demonstrable examples of dexterity
Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components (desirable)
Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S
