Role Summary:As a key part of the commercial team, you’ll be instrumental in delivering accurate insurance documentation, maintaining client relationships, and driving retention and growth. You'll also support and mentor less experienced team members, contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture while benefiting from structured career progression and a flexible, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:• Manage a broad commercial portfolio: Provide tailored solutions and maintain client satisfaction• Prepare and process policy documentation: Ensure accuracy for new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments• Liaise with clients and insurers: Resolve queries, confirm cover, and secure the best terms• Monitor account activity: Handle credit control issues and raise concerns when needed• Mentor junior team members: Share knowledge and foster development across the team• Apply legal/regulatory policies: Ensure full compliance and quality assurance standards
Requirements:• Proven experience in commercial insurance account handling• Working knowledge of insurance platforms and Microsoft Office• CII qualifications (or working towards Dip CII/FIT) preferred• Strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills• Customer-centric approach with high attention to detail• Eligible to work in the UK
