Meraki Talent are excited to be supporting our Glasgow based client with the recruitment for an experienced Finance Manager, which will focus on the delivery and oversight of legal entity control, governance and financial reporting for this Group of companies. This is a hybrid role with excellent flexible working and a base at their Glasgow office. This is a relatively new function that supports this Groups property portfolio, the team is continuing to grow as portfolio and assets continue to grow, with a key focus on meeting all sustainability requirements. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with good financial control and reporting (IFRS) experience, keen to further develop their skills and experience on working and managing a team, whilst continuing with their development. Duties of the Finance Manager:
- Financial Control and Reporting
- Monthly management accounts and reconciliation of entity ledgers
- Annual financial statement preparation and review
- Assist Group Finance with external audit
- Partner with key functions i.e. other finance, commercial, operations and change teams
- Project involvement - currently new system implementation
Background of the Finance Manager:
- Experience with large service sector, possibly property, real estate or financial service
- Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Good understanding of IFRS reporting and preparation of financial statements
- Experience of working with ERP systems, possibly Oracle / SAP
- VAT experience maybe advantageous
