Account Handler required to join a major insurance broker to strengthen one of its corporate servicing teams in Glasgow.

As Corporate Account Handler, you will be tasked with supporting and working with the Account Executives, in managing a portfolio of corporate national clients and providing an outstanding level of client service. You will handle client renewals, and also update and implement any relevant changes to cover mid-term. You will also undertake negotiations with insurers, to obtain the best terms and provide tailored insurance solutions for a wide variety of clients.

Ability to positively engage with clients is essential for this role and you should also be able to bring some previous experience gained within the insurance industry, particularly in dealing with cross class commercial business. Ideally you will have strong technical knowledge in dealing with major classes of insurance such as Commercial Property, Liability or Combined risks. You will also have the ability to meet deadlines, and any insurance industry qualifications gained would be a distinct advantage.
