This role supports decision-making and contributes to business performance improvement.Key Responsibilities• Provide financial support and analysis to business units.• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and period-end reporting.• Prepare accruals, adjustments, and validate accounts.• Ensure compliance with financial governance and controls.• Conduct financial analysis and identify risks and opportunities.• Support investment appraisals and cost modelling.• Engage with senior stakeholders to influence financial decisions.• Deliver accurate business review information and reporting.• Build detailed plans to support business planning and budgeting.• Identify and manage commercial risks.Essential Skills & Experience• Part-qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.• Good understanding of financial control and risk.• Effective communication and influencing skills.• Experience in financial planning and reporting.• Ability to interpret technical accounting regulations into everyday language.• Demonstrable stakeholder management and partnering experience.Desirable• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW).• Experience in complex financial environments.• Understanding of project management principles.• Degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or business management.• Experience with Client-based systems and Power BI.Work Environment• Fast-paced and varied.• Strong focus on business partnering and relationship building.• Exposure to ad hoc analysis, budgeting cycles, and governance.
