The Company

A well-established national business with an exceptional track record of internal progression and development. You’ll manage and mentor a team of qualified accountants, overseeing their deliverables, supporting them with resource planning, deadline management, and providing guidance on complex or technical issues as they arise.

Your remit will include:

  • Leadership and people development: Supporting qualified accountants with managing their teams, workload, and priorities.
  • Project involvement: Playing a key role in group-level and cross-functional finance projects.

You will be technically strong, curious, and commercially aware. A natural leader and mentor, you’ll be passionate about developing others and fostering high performance.

You’ll be confident dealing with ambiguity and thrive on solving problems, balancing the day-to-day leadership of your team with getting involved in strategic or high-impact finance initiatives. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are a must, as is a mindset geared towards improvement, challenge, and collaboration.
