If so, we'd love to hear from you as we're currently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Optronics & Missile Electronics (OME) team in Glasgow. The OME team is responsible for designing a range of state-of-the-art optronics and missile electronic solutions for some of the most technically advanced defence and security platforms for land, sea and air.

What's does your day look like?
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you can expect to be involved in:
- Planning and performing project audits and surveillance activities in accordance with the Project Quality Plans and audit strategy
- Acting as the customer's representative inside the project or bid team and looking to maximize customer satisfaction and support any actions
- Managing and analysing reports to continually improve quality within the project, and ensure the quality performance is managed and reported to meet project time-scales
- Encouraging and developing best practice, promoting a quality culture and environment of continuous improvement
About you
Ideally, you'll:
- Have proven experience working as a Quality Engineer OR Quality Assurance Manager (or similar role) preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Have a detailed knowledge of current quality working practices and standards preferably ISO9001 / AS9100
- Have an understanding of the engineering/project lifecycle - desirable
- Have experience of working within a project structure and experience of managing work packages - desirable
- Be a qualified auditor or have similar experience
- Be an excellent communicator, collaborator and influencer in order to build relationships and promote Quality with key stakeholders
- Be a member of, or working towards membership of the Chartered Quality Institute - desirable
Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain full secret level security clearance
This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.
