Mortgage Customer Service OfficerGlasgow - hybrid (min 3 days each week in the office)Salary £25K per annum

We’re looking for a Mortgage Customer Service Officer to be the first point of contact with customers. You will be responsible for supporting mortgage customers throughout the life of their mortgage. This is a varied role where you will juggle multiple priorities whilst ensuring accuracy and alignment to policies and procedures.

Our client, a specialist, manual, mortgage lender based in Glasgow, are a technology-driven brand shaking up the market by offering improved customer results through tech and also by offering exceptional customer service.

Duties of the Mortgage Customer Service Officer:

  • Provide a helpful and efficient service to customers by phone, email or in writing.
  • Deliver and produce welcome letters, title registrations & statements and process payments and redemptions.
  • Undertake regular risk-based activity (such as checking the occupancy of a mortgaged property).
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain key performance indicators and service levels by working to agreed objectives and deliverables.

The successful individual will possess:

  • Experience in an administrative, customer service focused role in the financial services sector.
  • Experience in a regulated environment with an understanding of money laundering and treating customers fairly.
  • Exposure to mortgage products would be desirable.
