About

Are you an experienced Property & Casualty Underwriter looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a skilled individual to join a dynamic team in Glasgow. As a P&C Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating, underwriting, and managing a diverse portfolio of property and casualty risks while ensuring profitable growth and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate risk submissions for property and casualty insurance.
  • Determine appropriate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing in line with underwriting guidelines.
  • Collaborate with brokers and other stakeholders to develop tailored insurance solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the current market trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring profitability and growth targets are met.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build long-term relationships with clients and brokers.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Property & Casualty underwriting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Knowledge of the UK insurance market and regulatory environment.
