Job Title: Town Planner / Senior Town Planner
Location: Glasgow
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a with a forward-thinking, design-led practice that's seeking a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join their talented and motivated team.

The Role
You'll be joining a collaborative planning team, reporting to the Planning Director, and providing expert town planning consultancy services to both private and public sector clients. The position suits either an experienced Planner ready to step up or a confident Senior Planner looking for a new challenge in a supportive and ambitious environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing planning strategies and advising clients and project teams
* Managing and submitting planning applications, appeals and representations
* Writing planning statements, appraisals and related advice documents
* Communicating ideas and advice clearly and effectively, both written and verbal
* Staying up to date with planning policy, legislation and design guidance
* Coordinating with internal teams and external consultants
About You
- Experience in town planning (private or public sector)
* Proven experience managing projects, liaising with clients, consultants and local authorities
* Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting advice to varied audiences
* A proactive team player who values collaboration and innovation
* A full, clean UK driving licence
