Legal Secretary / Administrator – Glasgow – Salary £25,000 p/a + Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a new opportunity? Do you have Conveyancing experience?Are you eager to join an established team based in Glasgow? We are eager to speak to experienced legal secretaries / administrators who are looking for a new opportunity in Glasgow. Ideally for this role you will have experience within a residential conveyancing setting or business, providing administrative support to a busy team daily. Within this role you will be responsible for supporting a small team of paralegals, with a variety of conveyancing transactions. This is a great opportunity to join an established firm in Glasgow!This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday. This role will follow a hybrid working model, with a starting salary of £25,000 p/a + available depending on experience. Please note there is onsite parking available. Are you who we are looking for?
  • You have experience within a residential conveyancing team or firm
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages and other software
  • You are a confident communicator both written and orally
  • You have experience supporting conveyancing transactions and AML procedures
  • You are organised and able to manage your time and diary to complete tasks
  • You have a strong attention to detail
What is the day to day like?
  • Supporting residential property transactions including sales, purchases, and title transfers
  • Preparing security and purchase paperwork
  • Providing excellent service to all clients face-to-face, and via telephone and email
  • Assisting with the settlement of transactions, completing LBTT returns and registrations
  • Conducting property searches when required
  • Assisting with the opening of new client files, AML compliance and processing source of funds information
  • Preparing sale and purchase accounts
  • Providing administrative support to paralegals and fee earners daily
  • Ensuring all client information is up to date and accurate on the internal system
