- You are an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary
- You have experience supporting a team of solicitors / paralegals
- You have strong communication skills both written and orally
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages
- You have excellent time and diary management skills
- You enjoy building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- You can work well individually a within a wider team environment
- You are proactive and can solve any issues as they arise
- Preparing legal documents including dispositions and standard securities
- Preparing and submitting LBTT returns
- Opening and closing client files on the internal system
- Completing all AML checks, filing and following all Law Society guidance
- Managing diaries and arranging meetings with clients
- Contacting clients and keeping them informed of any progress within their cases
- Working closely with solicitors and paralegals, preparing and domestic conveyancing
- Handling confidential information in line with company policies
- Completing all basic administrative tasks including photocopying, scanning, taking calls and fielding correspondence
- Assisting with holiday cover when required
