CNX are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager & QHSE support on behalf of a reputable construction main contractor, based in Glasgow.

This role is essential in providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our clients Glasgow office and support to the Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental (QHSE) team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills with a keen ability to manage and adapt to undertaking multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • General office & admin duties
  • Co-ordinating contractors & services to Glasgow office
  • Keeping maintenance schedule for office
  • Taking deliveries and arranging waste collection
  • Project support
  • Serve as main office point of contact in Glasgow
  • Meet & greet guests, prepare hospitality for meetings
  • Opening up and closing down office daily (security)

As QHSE Support:

  • Assist QHSE team with H&S documentation
  • Provide Glasgow-based sites with QHSE support
  • Review office H&S arrangements with QHSE team
  • Record incidents in office and discuss with QHSE team
  • Monitor, review & arrange employee training
  • Form part of internal audit team

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Good organisational & communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with MS Office packages
  • Can establish & maintain good working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and clients
  • Administration or similar office experience

Desirable:

  • Prior experience working in a construction or QHSE-based role(note: training is provided)
  • Prior experience in office management
  • Admin or QHSE training/qualifications
