We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor in the infrastructure and rail sector, who are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple rail-focused civil engineering projects in and around the Central Belt of Scotland.

The Role:

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering works within a live rail environment, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are met. This includes the full project life-cycle - from planning and design coordination through to delivery and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Network Rail standards and company procedures
* Manage project teams including site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
* Develop and maintain project programmes and resource plans
* Manage health & safety on site, ensuring a culture of safety-first is maintained
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to ensure smooth delivery
* Provide regular progress reports to senior management
* Work closely with commercial teams to manage budgets, costs and change control

Requirements:

* Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects in a rail environment
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
