Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (Dependent on Experience)

 

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in product development or engineering?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join a global engineering and technology organisation working on innovative, high-value projects for international customers.

The Project Manager will play a key role in managing complex engineering projects from concept through to production, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

The Role of the Project Manager:

The Project Manager will oversee multi-disciplinary projects, balancing technical, commercial, and operational priorities.

Working closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams across multiple sites, you’ll ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet customer requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Deliver projects to cost, specification and schedule objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams, drive decisions and clear blockers
  • Identify/mitigate risks and ensure quality gates are hit
  • Coordinate engineering, production and purchasing across sites
  • Produce quotations, project updates and management reports
  • Capture lessons learned and improved processes

 

About the Project Manager:

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering
  • Over 5 year’s experience in product development or project delivery
  • Proven track record managing the full design lifecycle of engineered products
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to drive projects to completion
  • Knowledge of quality or project management principles (e.g. Six Sigma, PRINCE2)
  • Experience with SAP (or willingness to learn)
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required
