Yard Assistant
Location: Cambuslang, Glasgow
Pay: 12.45 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm
We are hiring a Yard Assistant to join a busy and dynamic factory team in Glasgow.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be working outdoors taking responsibility for the yard area of a busy construction manufacturing business. Key duties will include:
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and free from hazards
- Perform general upkeep such as sweeping, clearing debris and maintaining a safe area
- Gathering packaging materials returned from site removing any non-recyclable material
- Safely operate the compactor to compress recyclable materials ensuring correct loading procedures utilised
- General yard duties as required

What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a yard or recycling plant OR transferable skill from another environment
- Reliable and punctual with a positive, can-do attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable with working outdoors
