Michael Page are seeking an FP&A Analyst on behalf of our well-established client based in Tameside. This role involves financial planning, analysis, and strategic support to ensure the company's financial objectives are met.

Description

The key responsibilities of an FP&A Analyst will include:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including trends and financial forecasts.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assist with strategic planning and modelling.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather data and understand business trends.
  • Support the management team with decision-making through financial analysis.
  • Ensure financial statements comply with laws and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Profile

A successful FP&A Analyst should have:

  • Strong experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent skills in data analysis and financial modelling.
  • A part qualified ACCA or CIMA studier
  • Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
