Senior Commissioner - SEND Alternative provision
400 - 450 per day
Part time - 3 days per week
Remote working may be considered
6 months initially - likely to be extended
What we need from you:
To lead on the design, development and delivery of a range of service workstreams for families or children and young people which will secure good outcomes for all residents and ensure services provide excellent value for money.
These workstreams will be driven by both local priorities and national policy reforms through the DfE SEND and Alternative Provision Change Programme. Specifically:
- Review Universal banding system.
- Maintained special school place planning
Must Have:
- Leadership experience in sectors which have lead to positive outcomes for children, young people and families with SEND.
- Experience of effective working across organisational boundaries and use of influence within multi-agency settings which has led to improved outcomes for children, young people and families
