- A strong background in finance management, ideally within a similar interim or contract role.
- Solid experience in all core finance functions, including billing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
- Good working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience using accounting software – Sage is particularly beneficial.
- A confident approach to preparing and presenting monthly financial statements and reports.
- The ability to manage cashflow, debt, and collections effectively.
- Strong understanding of audit processes and experience working with external auditors.
- A track record of improving finance systems and streamlining processes.
- Attention to detail and a strong grasp of internal controls and accounting policies.
- Salary up to £70,000 per annum, pro rata for the 6-month contract.
