Role DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Interim Finance Manager to provide essential support during a particularly busy period. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with an immediate start preferred due to staff absences over the holiday season.You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day finance operations and ensuring the smooth running of core financial processes. The role would suit someone hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working at pace. You’ll need to be adaptable and able to step into a broad range of responsibilities with confidence.This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional to make an immediate impact within a friendly and supportive team.Essential Experience & Skills: To be successful in this role, you should have:

A strong background in finance management, ideally within a similar interim or contract role.
Solid experience in all core finance functions, including billing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
Good working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Experience using accounting software – Sage is particularly beneficial.
A confident approach to preparing and presenting monthly financial statements and reports.
The ability to manage cashflow, debt, and collections effectively.
Strong understanding of audit processes and experience working with external auditors.
A track record of improving finance systems and streamlining processes.
Attention to detail and a strong grasp of internal controls and accounting policies.

A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA) would be an advantage but is not strictly essential for this interim role.What’s on offer:
