CLASS 1 DRIVER NIGHTS (NO NIGHTS OUT)

Shift: MONDAY - FRIDAY SHIFT START TIMES BETWEEN 17:30 -18:30

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £17.30 per hour guaranteed 9 hours
• Overtime after 9.5 hours: £25.95 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Delivering Forklifts to clients
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly - full training will be given.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed - full training will be given

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
• Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles, no more than 6 month break.
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Training:

• Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
• After successful Assessment, you will have 4-5 shifts with expereinced driver before going out on your own.
