HR Advisor – 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract

What You Will Do:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers, ensuring the early resolution of complex and sensitive employee relations issues.

  • Support managers in applying HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and UK employment law.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from developing job descriptions to coordinating interviews and managing offers.

  • Oversee sickness absence management, collaborating with managers to reduce absence levels and support employees back to work.

  • Partner with recruitment agencies and other sourcing methods to attract top talent for both the Gloucester and Manchester sites.

  • Assist in the management of disciplinary, grievance, and sickness absence cases, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in a HR Officer or HR Advisor role within a fast-paced environment.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

  • Demonstrable experience managing a variety of employee relations cases with a balanced and objective approach.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate management.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and travel between sites.
