Part Time Human Resources Advisor - Gloucestershire / Hybrid - £39-41000k FTE + numerous financial/non-financial benefits
Well Placed HR have been exclusively reengaged by a past client, a highly successful services business operating across multiple sites, as they look to expand into a new county and acquire more sites, this is a truly exciting time to join this successful growing organisation. They have tasked us with sourcing an experienced HR Advisor to join their growing team - a permanent role operating on a part time basis (21 hours each week worked across 3 days to include Monday and Friday 9am-5pm). The role will be based remotely but applicants must reside in the Gloucestershire or Bristol area, as the role will require frequent travel between sites. Applicants will require their own vehicle and will be suitably compensated for business travel.
Working closely alongside an experienced HR Manager (also introduced by Well Placed HR), and ultimately reporting to the company’s HR Director, this will be a broad and varied role and will include overseeing responsibilities for other areas of the business.
Your day to duties will be extremely varied, but your general day to day role will include:
- Working closely with the HR team to successfully drive the organisation forwards
- Assisting with the implementation of new HR processes across the organisation
- Drafting and implementing new employment contracts and staff handbooks within a newly acquired site
- Ensuring processes and procedures are streamlined
- Creating new policies as the need arises
- Dealing with all levels of employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and performance review
- Administrating absence and return to work process
- Assisting within meetings including drafting of minutes
- Liaise with site Manager and other staff
The role calls for an experienced HR Advisor with a strong understanding of employment law, legislation and general employee relations. A sound knowledge of HRM policymaking and development will be essential. The successful candidate will ideally (though not essentially), be qualified to CIPD level 5 through vocational experience and a confidence to undertake often sensitive cases are our clients key desirable. The business is technology focused so a good working IT aptitude and the ability to rasp bespoke people management tools essential.
