Responsibilities
- Assist with Adult Social Care legislation queries and matters.
- Handle Court of Protection cases.
- Manage Re X applications and s21A cases.
- Address capacity cases, such as those related to the ability to have sexual relations.
- Work on Mental Health cases and the displacement of nearest relatives.
- Deal with means assessment and deprivation of capital matters.
- Resolve direct payments queries and ordinary residence disputes.
- Conduct judicial reviews and manage LGSCO matters on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council.
- Significant experience in Adult Social Care work, enabling you to hit the ground running.
- Commitment to promoting diversity and reflecting the population of Gloucestershire.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and compliance with GDPR.
- Admitted Solicitor or Barrister with relevant qualifications and registrations.
- Ability to work remotely and manage workload efficiently.
