Description
The Transport Contract Manager will be responsible for;
- Oversee and manage contracts within the Transport & Distribution department.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met in an efficient and timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Optimise logistical operations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contractual and logistical issues.
- Monitor market trends in the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement strategies for continuous improvement within the logistics department.
Profile
A successful Transport Contract Manager should have:
- CPC Qualified or the ability to complete
- Experience in contract management within the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution processes.
- Ability to manage on Site customer relationship and report on performance and service levels
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Commutable daily to Yate - Bristol
- Monday to Friday Role - 8:00am - 16:30pm
Job Offer
- An salary of £38,000 with the potential to rise to £39,360 after the next review period.
