MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a Social Housing Contractor based in Gloucestershire. This is a 6-8-week contract to deal with an extra caseload of work, which is subject to possible extension thereafter.

The rate of pay is dependent on the candidates' level of experience and alignment with the key requirements; however, the position will be inside of IR35. Candidates will need access to their own vehicle to travel around locations, with most being in the Gloucestershire area.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading energy efficiency retrofit works including Photovoltaics (PV), Windows, and Roofing
  • Organise materials, labour, and subcontractors for PV, window replacement, and roofing works.
  • Enforce site-wide H&S policies, in line with SMSTS and CSCS standards.
  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Asbestos Awareness protocols (UKATA/IATP certified).
  • Managing teams and subcontractors
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance on site
  • Reporting on progress and maintaining quality standards
  • Coordinate daily site operations to ensure timely delivery.


Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager working on Social Housing contracts.
  • Experience working on Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) projects is essential.
  • Background in energy efficiency works, specifically PV installations, window replacements, and roofing is essential.
  • Valid CSCS (Gold or above) and SMSTS
  • Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or IATP certified)
