We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-respected Multi-Academy Trust in the Gloucester area, supporting their search for dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work with primary-aged pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of ALN and SEN needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils engage in learning and develop key skills.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Provide emotional and social support to help pupils thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with ALN and/or SEN (school or care setting).
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Right to work in the UK.

(Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or related qualifications are desirable but not essential.)
