The client is a global charity seeking an experienced candidate to handle tasks such as bank reconciliations, prepayments, and cash reporting.
The successful applicant will assist in preparing annual financial statements and will work closely with income and accounts payable teams to ensure accurate financial data recording.
Candidates should have relevant experience and be available on short notice, with a salary range of £35,000 to £36,500.
This position offers hybrid working with two days in the office and includes holiday and pension benefits.

Client Details

Our client a Global Charity based in Godalming operating in various countries throughout the world seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Description

Reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts
Ownership of prepayments, accruals, and regular cash reporting.
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audit work.
Work closely with the income and accounts payable teams to support the processing of transactions and ensure financial data is recorded correctly.
Assist in finance projects
Support ad hoc queries from budget holders
Contribute to continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting across the organisation.
May be working towards their accountancy degree

Profile

The successful candidate will have experience in the above and be on short notice.
