Finance Manager – Goole – Up to £45,000Chase & Holland are proud to be supporting a successful, privately owned retail business in the Goole area who are currently seeking a driven and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join their dedicated Finance Team.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business, working closely with the Financial Controller to produce accurate and timely financial reporting as well as overseeing a number of business-critical processes. You’ll collaborate with and support senior managers across the business to understand the figures and performance of departments, bringing the numbers to life and identifying areas for improvement.Benefits:

Finance Manager Responsibilities:
  • Producing the weekly and monthly accounts and providing commentary and variance analysis
  • Conducting detailed reconciliations across systems
  • Preparing and summarising financial data for non-finance managers
  • Advising non-finance departments to ensure they understand the reporting and data given
  • Supporting with the year-end process and annual audit responsibilities
  • Assisting in the customer due diligence preparation and reviews
  • Working with the wider team to support with process and system development initiatives
  • Management and development of junior members of the finance team
  • Carrying out treasury tasks as required
  • Supporting in business-critical projects
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience within a similar role
  • Full or part qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA desirable
  • Strong management accounting experience with high attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of data
