Our client, a respected name in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a hands-on, motivated, and responsible Production Technician to join their high-performing team in Goole and keep operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of the production team, you’ll:

  • Operate and manage key production processes including tank farm intake and dispatch

  • Oversee melt room operations to ensure customer requirements are met

  • Carry out essential maintenance, filter runs, and routine in-process analysis

  • Supervise contractors and team members, acting as the senior decision-maker during night/weekend shifts

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant working environment at all times

  • Order consumables and chemicals needed for continuous operations

  • Support and manage your shift team with leadership, guidance, and professionalism

  • Experienced in a production or manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)

  • Safety-first and hygiene-conscious – food safety is non-negotiable

  • Technically savvy with strong mechanical or maintenance skills

  • Flexible with shift patterns and willing to provide cover when needed
