Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Goole Ideally the suitable candidate will be an experienced class 1 tipper driver however, training will be given for the right candidate. You must have held your class 1 licence for at least 12 months.
Pay rates PAYE
* 16.50./hr days
Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
* 17.50/hr days
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
* At least 12 months Experience in general haulage & able to strap
* A clean driving record with no major endorsements (No more than 6 points)
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
