Daily Rate: 90 - 105 per day

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 | Monday to Friday | Term Time Only

Long Term Futures is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join one of our trusted partner SEMH schools in Grantham (NG31) from September 2025. This school is part of a forward-thinking Multi-Academy Trust that specialises in providing inclusive, structured support for children aged 5-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This full-time, term-time role is ideal for someone with a calm, caring approach who is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Offering tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH
  • Preparing engaging learning materials and supporting classroom delivery
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional development across the school day
  • Supporting the wider team in creating a safe, consistent learning environment
  • Managing challenging behaviours effectively

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEMH or SEND
  • Is adaptable and able to respond to a variety of student needs
  • Can remain calm and confident when managing challenging behaviour
