Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire (NG31)
Pay: 90 - 100 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We're partnering with a specialist SEMH school in Grantham that provides a truly nurturing and structured environment for pupils aged 5-16. This school is known for helping students feel safe, understood and support students social and emotional growth.

As part of a well-respected Multi-Academy Trust, the school places emotional wellbeing, positive relationships and personalised support at the centre of everything they do. It's a setting where staff work closely together, celebrate small steps of progress and make a lasting impact every day.

What you'll be doing

  • Working 1-1 and in small groups with students who have Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them learn, grow and build confidence.
  • Supporting teachers to deliver engaging, creative lessons that meet individual needs.
  • Encouraging pupils' emotional wellbeing, resilience and positive behaviour, helping them build self-confidence and social skills.
  • Providing calm, consistent supervision during learning activities, break time and off-site trips.
  • Contributing to an inclusive environment where students feel safe and valued.

What we're looking for

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or SEN needs is highly desirable.
  • Experience in roles such as care, youth work, sports coaching or working with vulnerable individuals is also relevant.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships, remain calm and positive under pressure, and work as part of a supportive team.
  • Genuine enthusiasm, patience and a commitment to making a difference every day.
