We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join An outstanding primary school in the NG31 area. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering high-quality education and supporting pupils' learning and development.

The Role:

  • Deliver planned lessons and interventions across a range of year groups
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional progress
  • Lead small group and whole-class activities in the teacher's absence
  • Work closely with teaching staff to create engaging and inclusive learning opportunities
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to classroom organisation, displays, and resource preparation

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school
  • Confident in leading whole-class sessions and managing behaviour positively
  • Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing
