Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic organisation in Kent who are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join the Human Resources team. This role is pivotal in delivering excellent service in all aspects of people-related administration, ensuring a professional experience throughout the employee lifecycle. You will support the Head of HR and contribute to the wider HR agenda through participation in key projects.
Day-to-day of the role:- Responsible for people administration, including documentation, accurate recording, and updating on our HR software, Chronicle.
- Support managers with correspondence related to contract changes, probation, and leaver confirmations, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
- Monitor and track employee training and certifications to meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain current and former colleague personnel files in compliance with GDPR, including filing, uploading new paperwork, and disposing of documentation as required.
- Actively support the onboarding process, including setting up new colleagues on Chronicle.
- Assist in the recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to initial shortlisting and first contact for junior and mid-level roles.
- Collaborate with the Head of HR and payroll to manage employee contract queries, and inform payroll of any changes such as leavers, starters, and contract variations.
- Support the Head of HR with employee benefits and promotions, liaising with the Finance department as necessary.
- Assist in updating HR policies and procedures as directed.
- Participate in company-wide projects that support the design and implementation of our HR framework.
- Experience in HR administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using HR software, preferably Chronicle but not essential.
- Strong understanding of GDPR and its application in HR.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various departments.
