Are you an enthusiastic and experienced primary class teacher with a passion for making a positive impact in a welcoming and supportive school community?

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Gravesend from January 2026 until the end of the academic year. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful KS2 Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Full class teaching responsibilities
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Writing reports and keep pupil records
  • Attending and contributing to parents' evenings
  • Managing behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Experience in assessing pupils progress effectively and using data to inform teaching and learning strategies
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
