We are seeking a passionate and committed qualified teacher for a lower KS2 maternity cover in Gravesend starting January 2026. This long-term role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and welcoming primary school, where the KS2 team work closely together to plan engaging lessons to provide a positive learning environment for children in Years 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a creative approach to teaching, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children thrive academically and socially.

 

As a Teacher working with TailorEDucation, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons or learning activities, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring children are inspired to achieve their best. The Ideal Candidate Experience
  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience delivering lessons within a UK school environment
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for supporting the progress and wellbeing of all learners
