Our Client, a well-established gastro pub located in Grays, Essex, require an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join their brigade.
This venue caters for functions and events as well as locals and tourists alike, remaining busy year-round. It takes inspiration from the best of British food, everything is seasonal and made in house using fresh locally sourced ingredients.
As Commis Chef:
路 You will remain calm under pressure
路 Have good kitchen experience within a similar style kitchen
路 Knowledgeable about fresh food
路 Down to earth and able to work well in a team
路 Hands on and able to get stuck in as and when needed
路 Passionate and eager to learn
Qualification/Skill Required
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working at this level
- Level 2 Health and Hygiene Certificate
- NVQ in professional cookery / or equivalent, preferred
