RE & Humanities Teacher - Permanent Role - September 2025 Start - Grays, Essex

We are working in partnership with a respected and well-established secondary school in Grays, Essex, to appoint a committed and experienced RE & Humanities Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2025.

This is a full-time classroom teaching role that offers stability, progression, and the opportunity to work in a school with high standards and a strong ethos. The school has a collaborative and supportive staff culture, with excellent behaviour and motivated learners.

The Role:

  • Teach Religious Education and Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage critical thinking
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
  • Start date: September 2025
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Please note: this role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have substantial experience teaching RE and/or Humanities at secondary level
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and subject knowledge
  • Be committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality teaching
