Are you an experienced Metal Sheet Worker who can carry out high-quality panel beating and final finish work?
GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a long-established, successful, vehicle restoration business based in Malvern. We are supporting their recruitment for a Sheet Metal Worker to join their growing team on a full time, permanent contract.
This position can offer a basic salary up to £38,000 per annum, pending relevant experience, plus excellent company benefits.
Sheet Metal Worker main duties:
- Carry out high-quality panel beating and final finish work.
- Contribute to the restoration and build of bespoke vehicles from start to finish.
- Work extensively with aluminium, ensuring precision and strong structural integrity.
- Perform occasional MIG and TIG welding (approximately 10% of the role), including tasks such as welding the rear panel to the front of the vehicle.
- Support production processes—each vehicle build takes around 13–14 hours.
Metal Sheet Worker required skills and experience:
- Proven experience in metal sheet work, panel beating, or similar craftsmanship roles.
- Strong background in aluminium fabrication and finishing.
- Experience within vehicle restoration or custom build environments is highly desirable.
- MIG/TIG welding experience is beneficial but not essential.
