Freightserve are looking to recruit a Fine Art & Logistics and Project Manager for a niche sector Freight company. The role is working within high value shipments including; Fine Arts and Antiques.

Job Description:-

We're seeking an experienced Fine Art & Logistics and Project Manager to oversee the seamless transportation and handling of high-value art and collectibles. This role combines logistics expertise with a passion for fine art, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of precious items globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics Management:
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for domestic and international fine art transport
  • Oversee customs processes, including documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Track shipments and ensure timely execution across all stages
  • Client Relations:
  • Develop strong relationships with dealers, buyers, galleries, and auction houses
  • Provide tailored logistics solutions and resolve issues professionally
  • Prepare competitive quotations and manage project budgets
  • Operational Leadership:
  • Supervise art handlers, drivers, and installation crews
  • Manage complex multi-site moves and time-sensitive installations
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and service quality standards
  • Auction House Account Management:
  • Serve as primary logistics liaison for a leading UK auction house
  • Coordinate large-scale auction installations and deinstallations
  • Manage artwork intake, storage, and release processes
  • Innovation and Improvement:
  • Stay informed on industry best practices
  • Identify operational improvements and cost-saving measures
  • Drive service enhancements in logistics, conservation, and handling

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in fine art logistics and project management
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping
