We’re working with a well-established engineering business in Grimsby who are seeking a finance professional to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to add real value in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, supporting the business with accurate financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making insight.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the company’s overall financial performance
  • Lead on forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
  • Prepare reports for the board
  • Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Manage a team of 3
  • Oversee cash flow reporting and ensure effective working capital management
  • Manage the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Calculate and report on contract revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15

Requirements:

  • Have achieved ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification or equivalent
  • Be experienced with Excel
  • Experience using Sage200 would be beneficial
  • Understanding of project costs, work in progress, CIS, and revenue recognition would be a big advantage
