We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team in Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with expertise in the design, development, and implementation of complex infrastructure projects, working within a supportive, collaborative environment that places a strong emphasis on career progression and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead the design and implementation of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all infrastructure components.
·Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
·Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
·Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
·Ensure all projects meet high-quality standards, from initial design through to project completion.
Requirements:
·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
·Proven experience in infrastructure design and engineering, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
·Proficiency in key design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MicroDrainage.
·Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
·Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
·A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them forward.
Desirable Skills:
·Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) would be advantageous, but not essential.
·Experience in managing client relationships and delivering presentations would be a plus.
