We’re looking for a Part-Time Senior Finance Officer to join a well-established arts and heritage charity. In this key role, you’ll support the Head of Finance and contribute to the smooth running of the organisation’s finances. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your experience in a role that offers both flexibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on month-end processes and preparation of management accounts
  • Support the year-end process and assist with audit preparation
  • Carry out some transactional finance tasks where needed
  • Help improve financial processes and potentially contribute to business partnering
  • Work closely with a small and collaborative finance team

Person SpecificationYou will be:

  • Experienced in month-end, management accounts, and year-end finance
  • Ideally familiar with the charity or not-for-profit sector
  • A self-starter who is confident working independently and within a team
  • Either studying towards an accounting qualification or qualified by experience
  • Comfortable with SAGE (desirable but not essential)
