We are working in partnership with a highly regarded law firm that is seeking an Associate to join their specialist Private Wealth Disputes team. This is an outstanding opportunity to manage your own caseload of contentious trusts and estates matters, while gaining exposure to more complex, high-value work alongside senior lawyers. The role offers excellent development prospects, a collaborative team culture, and a clear path to progression.

The Opportunity

  • Manage your own case load of private wealth disputes, including contested wills, estate and trust disputes, and Court of Protection matters.
  • Assist Partners and Senior Associates on complex and high-value instructions, with the chance to take on greater responsibility as you progress.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team, including trainees and newly qualified solicitors.
  • Play an active role in business development and marketing activities, as well as contributing to the long-term strategy of the team.
  • Benefit from hands-on training, mentoring, and strong career progression opportunities.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Private Wealth Disputes (or a mixed case load that includes contentious private client work, with a desire to specialise).
  • Likely to have 2–4 years’ PQE, but strong candidates outside this range will also be considered.
  • Strong communicator with excellent client care skills, able to support individuals through sensitive matters.
  • Commercially minded with an interest in business development and building your own network.
  • Collaborative and approachable, with a genuine passion for achieving the best outcomes for clients.
