Role Overview

This position involves following established inspection procedures to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality components. The successful candidate will apply advanced technical skills developed through formal training and substantial hands-on experience in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, material usage, and production data within internal systems.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at eliminating defects, aligned with ISO-certified quality standards.

  • Lead inspection tasks by adhering to defined processes and procedures, ensuring components meet specifications and delivery targets.

  • Prepare components for subcontract operations and manage associated documentation.

  • Program and operate CMM equipment using the latest metrology software.



Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.

  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, with SAGE experience considered an advantage.

  • Knowledge of PC-DMIS or similar CMM software preferred.

  • Proven ability to operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).

  • Background in mechanical inspection, including manual metrology tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, etc.
