Role: Mechanical Inspector

Role Overview
This position involves following established inspection procedures to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality components. The successful candidate will apply advanced technical skills developed through formal training and substantial hands-on experience in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inventory, material usage, and production data within internal systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at eliminating defects, aligned with ISO-certified quality standards.
Lead inspection tasks by adhering to defined processes and procedures, ensuring components meet specifications and delivery targets.
Prepare components for subcontract operations and manage associated documentation.
Program and operate CMM equipment using the latest metrology software.
Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, with SAGE experience considered an advantage.
Knowledge of PC-DMIS or similar CMM software preferred.
Proven ability to operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
Background in mechanical inspection, including manual metrology tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, etc.
