This is your chance to join a respected financial planning practice just outside Guildford, supporting a team of Chartered Advisers managing nearly £300m AUM. Their client base? City professionals, entrepreneurs, families, and retirees — many with £500k+ to invest (and some £20m+).

With continued growth and exciting expansion plans, they’re seeking a part-time Compliance Consultant to strengthen their team and ensure they remain ahead of the curve on all regulatory matters.

�? About the Role:

  • Act as the firm’s primary compliance contact
  • Lead the Compliance Monitoring Programme
  • Conduct regular file checks & audits
  • Keep policies and procedures current and effective
  • Submit regulatory returns to the FCA
  • Deliver updates and training on key regulatory changes
  • Support with complaints handling and liaison with the FOS (if needed)
  • Work closely with advisers & staff to drive best practice
  • Assist with Consumer Duty implementation and FCA initiatives

  • Wealth management / IFA compliance background (essential)
  • Practical, proactive and solutions-driven
  • Comfortable working autonomously and advising on regulatory matters
  • Confident conducting file reviews and audits
  • Keen to join a thriving, high-quality boutique firm

? Flexible Working to Suit You:

  • Part-time hours — around 20 hours per week
  • Could be 3 days per week or 5 mornings you choose!
  • Office-based initially (Godalming/Guildford), then transition to hybrid
  • Open to employed, self-employed, or contractor setups
  • Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 pro-rata (negotiable for the right person)
