Alecto Recruitment is partnering with one of the leading figures within the Anaerobic Digestion sector. Our client is looking for entry level/ graduate chemical or process engineer to join their company to assist with process improvement, biology and maintenance of their portfolio.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Develop a deep understanding of the AD process, biology and maintenance plans to solve technical and production issues.
* Assisting our client with AD plant process optimisation and data management.
* Providing technical advice, guidance and assistance within the organisation.
* Working with various departments within the company to examine issues, as well as analysing and interpreting data.
* Perform studies on plant performance, production capacity and the effectiveness of process improvement projects.
* Document and communicate results of investigations and solutions.
* Identify and develop methods to monitor critical data, particularly areas that relate to biogas production.
* Communicate findings and conclusions to the wider business.

Skills and Qualifications
* MSc in process or chemical engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent level of experience).
* Ideally some experience within the Anaerobic Digestion sector or similar process environment.
* Good theoretical background in chemistry, biology, math, thermodynamics, mass- and heat transfer, mechanical engineering and control technology.
* Highly computer literate.
* Excellent data analysis (interpretation, reporting and presentation).
* Good organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise complex workloads.
* Willingness to travel regularly within the UK.
* Full, clean driving license.
