Bench Hand Joiner - HalesowenHourly Rate: £20 - £22Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm (with weekend work as required)Type: Ongoing contract with potential for permanent employmentThe Opportunity:GI Pro is currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join a specialist team in the exhibition and shopfitting industry. This is a full-time contracting role with competitive pay and strong earning potential per week. The position involves both workshop-based joinery and on-site installation, including travel across the UK and Europe.

The Company:A well-established manufacturer of high-end shop interiors and custom exhibition stands, offering consistent project work and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bench joinery and workshop-based fabrication
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Constructing and assembling bespoke exhibition stands and shop interiors
  • Pinning, gluing, and basic laminating (preferred but not essential)

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner or Shopfitter
  • Confident working from technical drawings
  • Willing to travel and work away during the week, including weekends, to meet project demands

Previous experience in the exhibition or shopfitting sector is highly desirable
