Sales Executive

Work type: Monday to Friday office based 8AM-7pm

Salary: Between £26,000 and £28,000 per annum, depending on experience plus commision

Role Overview

In this dynamic sales role, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and generating new business through proactive outreach. You’ll oversee client usage patterns and introduce a range of additional services and solutions offered by the company.

You’ll apply tailored sales techniques to identify customer needs and provide suitable options, with the aim of achieving both commercial goals and high customer satisfaction in line with company values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Place the customer at the centre of all activities, ensuring positive interactions at every opportunity
  • Show a willingness to learn about the industry, products, and services, and how they benefit customers
  • Maintain excellent communication skills to manage incoming inquiries, issue quotations, process orders, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Approach customer outreach with a resilient and positive mindset, using customer data to identify needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Comply with all relevant industry regulations and internal policies
  • Work independently to manage your own pipeline, call-backs, and leads to maximize potential opportunities
  • Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail when:
  • Processing orders
  • Recording and tracking sales activity
  • Updating customer records with relevant information
  • Suggest improvements to processes and products by sharing insights and feedback
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to share best practices and enhance performance
  • Participate in ongoing training and support the training needs of others
  • Maintain a high standard of personal conduct and professionalism
  • Operate effectively both independently and as a valued team member
  • Understand and apply margin management and negotiation strategies to secure and grow business
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators
